[ that is what he says of course, even once touya has gotten into the car and if he still sounds a little sulky, well, he also won't acknowledge that either. apparently he's feeling especially bratty tonight, and because it's ugetsu, he's not sorry, but touya is probably expecting this. ]
[ He couldn't stop the grin pulling at his lips as he got up off the ground and moved to slide into the passenger side, cake box sitting right in his lap nice and secure. ]
[ for whatever reason, the drive to touya's is smooth and traffic-free. the universe is perhaps having a laugh but if he doesn't acknowledge it then it's not true, so! but even without weird bottlenecks it still takes a little while, and when he pulls to a stop at the next red light, he smiles slightly. ]
Even when you tease, you're nice.
[ it's something ugetsu has been noticing more sharply lately and it sort of makes him want to slip out the back door of whatever this is at the same time that it keeps him curious. then again, touya draws out the nicer side of ugetsu ten times more than anyone else; and that's odd too. ]

[ he tilted his head toward Ugetsu, a playful smile dancing across his lips in return. Even if he says that, his "meanness" can only really go so far. ]
